    Hi All,

I am in the market for a COT and was curious which COT's you like the most.

    Thanks,

cant recall the name of it but David Haynes there in Huntsville at Freedom Powersports had one on display last year at their moto camping seminar. It was part of a display by a local outfitter and it was really comfortable and packed small. It was a backpacker style piece and appeared to be very well made. you might want to check in with him and find out who that local dealer / vendor was at his seminar.

    Good luck!

Erik, we have found the two names that top the list for us are Best Western and Super Eight. Good luck, Paul

Hey Erik, I just went out to the shop and pulled out my cot. It is a Grizzly that I bought at Cabellas over 10 years ago so it was not listed on their website. It is wide enough and long enough but it is still stiff to sleep on. I always used a thermarest on top which makes it tolerable. Also have one that is narrower called a Voyager made the same only narrower. I did google that and saw one for sale which shows the construction. The last time I used it was up at Blue Ridge 2 years ago. All that folded up small enough to carry on the bike.

Thanks for the reply everyone - I thought there was a company out in the Shoals that was manufacturing a cot that was pretty popular - I can't recall the name of the company though
