Default Where to get tires mounted?

Where do you guys around B'ham get tires mounted and balanced? Local tires prices are way more than revzilla or other online places, but I'll need them mounted locally.

There are two good places for maintenance and tires in the Birmingham area, both located in Leeds:

    A & G - Andy & Glenn 205 699-4933

    Moto Ace - Kenny & Roger 205 702-4022
    Bob Steber
    1995 R100GSPDC Long Tall Sallie
    1976 R90s Odalisque

In Pelham. I wish Terry's Two Wheel was still down here. That's 2 minutes from my house.

I vote for A & G - Andy & Glenn 205 699-4933. They have done fine work for me at a reasonable price.

Ended up at Moto Ace (they answered their phone first to set up appointment), and Kenny did a good job. $100 out the door, and these Pilot Road 4 GT's make it feel like I traded in for a Cadillac. He said those Dunlops were in "very poor" shape. When the front tire started to go, it went fast. Only 50 miles or so, but so far I love the Michelins.

I have PR4s on my 1200RT. Yes they are great and last a lot longer than any other tire I have used.

Sounds good mercator. Did Moto Ace change out the valve stems too? They deteriorate over time you know. I run with a pair of Bridgestone Battlax Sport Touring on my R1100 RS and average 9K on the rear and 7K on the front.

I specifically requested that. To be honest, I didn't look at them to check and see for sure.

So far, after 300 miles, I love the PR4 GT's.
