I throughly enjoyed my first camping experience at our July meeting. I even tried a little skiing behind Jim Dubick's bike. Here are some pictures from the event http://www.bmwmoal.org/pictures/towncreek.html

Steve,
This is Erik Bahl - I was riding the 95 Black R1100GS. Can you email me the photos (beemererik@bellsouth.net)? Were you the one that had the bike trouble near the bridge? What happened?
Bob - that was a great ride. Thanks for putting it together.

Welcome Erick.
I am proud of how everyone did staying together and mostly riding a staggered formation, especially through the two thunder storms. This proves that Beemer riders are the best.Bob Steber

Erick.
I believe that is Jimmy Lowe. Hopefully he can get his brake problem fixed without a lot of expense.
His email address is in the 2008 club directory, page 23.Bob Steber

Hey everyone. Yeah that was me with the bike problem. I think it was something related to the water on the rear brake rotor/pads. It may have even been the ABS activating or just acting up. It got me worried when the roads were wet, so I had to use more engine braking than I normally would. When I pulled off in that curve, I had just lightly applied the rear brake and it grabbed really hard. Luckily we were going really slow in that turn, so I decided to pull over and check it out. It happened about 5 or 6 times total.Jimmy
