Everyone I saw seemed to have a blast.
The cooks did a wonderful job as usual. The weather was fantastic. We had a nice ride down that pretty much took us all day avoiding traffic and enjoying backroads. Coleman was having their parking lot sale as usual. I didn't spend as much as I normally do, because I already had must of the stuff that was on sale if I had a use for it. Gator did introduce us to a neat little gadget to keep the bugs away, but it came from Wal-Mart. It worked so well Friday night that I had to go to Wal-Mart Saturday to pick up one for Bev and I, and one for the Jacksons. I wish it would have worked for cats. I had a couple of complaints about the campground this year, and the main one was cats. I'm not a cat person to start with, but when we returned to the tent on Saturday night one of the cats had sprayed the front door.
The smell wasn't too bad inside, but was real strong outside. We tried to clean it off before going to bed, but still had to do a lot of scrubbing when we got home. I guess we'll know tomorrow if it worked. The other concerns I had were the lack of toilet paper
, and the abundance of Fire Ants. We were kind of in a hurry on the way back, so we just blew back up the interstate. That was still a pretty good ride for interstate. Not much traffic and the weather was just right.
