Happy February ‘Snow Moon’ fellow AlaBeemers!

Everyone seemed to enjoy our February Ride-2-Eat to Decatur with twelve attendees for lunch. I’m hoping the weather will cooperate for even more attendees to ride to Bob Steber’s selected restaurant: Shells Downtown in Piedmont, AL on March 12th. Details to be sorted out and formally announced later…

I’ve just reserved Pavilion #1, kinda close to the Joe Wheeler Lodge & Restaurant for our MAY 21st scheduled Business Meeting. The Lodge is already filling up due to a planned Golf tournament and a wedding, so please reserve a room ASAP if you’re going to attend. I’m told to keep an eye on the park campsite’s webpage for a forthcoming Reopening announcement (in 10 to 14 days)… The state park was devastated by a tornado in 2020, and much renovation has taken place in the past year. Hope you’ll make your plans to attend the May BMW MOAL meeting & perhaps a PM picnic: [tbd]

In the meantime, we’re headed to the MOA Getaway in Fort Walton Beach,
and we’ll be looking forward to the Fontana Getaway in N.C. 22-24 April!
