I always said, Inch for inch Gail Thorne was absolutely the best rider I ever met. We have had many memorable rides and meetings with Gail and Paul Thorne. They were always positive encounters even if we may have been in axle deep mud or crashing in creeks. Gail was a great ambassador for BMW motorcycles and not too bad of KLR's. RIP our dear friend. So very sorry to hear of Gail’s passing. I often remember riding and camping with Gail and other club members near Waterloo, AL on the Tennessee river. What a great weekend that was and Gail was a big part of what made it great. Sorry for your loss Paul. Carolyn and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

We are so sorry to hear of Gail's passing. she was such an incredible person and a real joy to be around. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. She touched so many people's lives. The BMW family has lost a great friend and member. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Paul and family.
