  • Gail Thorn Has Passed.

I regret to inform the club that I’ve just learned that long time member Gail just recently passed away. No further information is known right now, but y’all can contact Paul either via email or snail mail. Start a look under the Members-Only Tab.

We too were wondering just the other day how things were going in Steen, Mississippi. Sending Condolences to Paul from the entire MOAL family! Stay warm & well everyone.

I always said, Inch for inch Gail Thorne was absolutely the best rider I ever met. We have had many memorable rides and meetings with Gail and Paul Thorne. They were always positive encounters even if we may have been in axle deep mud or crashing in creeks. Gail was a great ambassador for BMW motorcycles and not too bad of KLR's. RIP our dear friend. We love you, Gary & Angie DuBois

So very sorry to hear of Gail’s passing. I often remember riding and camping with Gail and other club members near Waterloo, AL on the Tennessee river. What a great weekend that was and Gail was a big part of what made it great. Sorry for your loss Paul. Carolyn and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
